This is a collection of music made in my bedroom over the last few years that managed to coalesce into an album. Each song captured something specific – each is the expression of a specific person. These guys are just as real but more concrete than me. They are long gone but objectified in this album, which I think is nice for them and that they would be pleased. It is all fun but of the hundreds of experiments the lyrics of these tracks have an emotional tangibility that made me want to put them together. The instrumentation is similarly experimental but also has a less specifically personal or more of an extra-personal grounding - being the music I listen to; the software, melodies and harmonies that were immediately accessible to me; and the constraints imposed by what I think people might want to listen to or think is cool.
